We have started establishing some new family traditions. When the power goes out (which is often here in Zambia during the rainy season), it is easy to grumble and complain. So we decided to do something special when the electricity is off at supper time. By candlelight, we treat ourselves to roasted marshmallows on a fork for dessert. It's like having your own personal campfire.

CABC Building
Recently we have mentioned the Central Africa Baptist College building several times in our prayer requests. John took the camera with him today in order to give you a view of what is going on. They almost completed the back of the roof today. Three more sheets on the back, a row on the front side, and the ridge caps to go. We pray that the roof will be finished this week!
and lifting them to the second floor.
The sheets are 36 inches wide
and 142 inches long.
They are also pretty heavy.
Then the sheets
are lifted again
to the third floor.
Sometimes we have
to cut the sheets to fit.
Then they are lifted up to the roof.
To be nailed in place.
In this picture you can see the rain storms coming. Today they stopped us three sheets short of getting the top row completed on the back of the building.
We are praying that the building will be ready to be moved into by mid-term this coming semester (2nd week of April).
